Jammu observes complete shut down

Jammu, Jul 16 (UNI) The winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir today observed complete shut down following a bandh call given by Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti.

Supported by at least 30 social, political and religious organisations, the Samiti is demanding revocation of the Amarnath land transfer deal.

No business was observed in the temple city as shutters were down and offices witnessed thin attendance in both government and corporate sectors.

Meanwhile, public transport has also been affected as no vehicle was allowed to ply on the road.
