Governor Jamir in Nagpur from tomorrow

Nagpur, Jul 16 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor S C Jamir will be on a brief visit to Nagpur from tomorrow.

Mr Jamir would arrive here from Mumbai by air tomorrow evening, and camp at Raj Bhawan for the night, according to an official release here.

On Friday morning, he would preside over a meeting of the Statutory Development Board for Vidarbha, it said.

Later in the day, the Governor would attend a programme to be hosted by South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC), and then camp at Raj Bhawan for the night, the release said.

On Saturday morning, Mr Jamir is scheduled to address the convocation ceremony of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), it said.

After meeting various delegations and holding discussions with local officials at Raj Bhawan on Saturday afternoon, Mr Jamir would return to Mumbai by air the same evening, it added.
