Shahabuddin seeks HC's permission to attend special session of LS
Patna, Jul 15 (UNI) Incarcerated RJD MP Mohammed Shahabuddin today sought the permission of the Patna High Court to attend the special session of Parliament, convened on July 21-22, to participate in the UPA government's trust vote.
Shahabuddin, currently lodged at Siwan jail, requested the court to allow him to attend the session through a petition filed by him.
Shahabuddin had been convicted by a special court in connection with cases related to murder and abduction, and had been awarded life imprisonment.
