One killed, 20 injured as bus collided with gas tanker

Sangrur, Jul 15 (UNI) An old woman was killed and 20 others were injured when the bus they were travelling in collided with a gas tanker near Bagrian village in this sistrict today.

According to police, the bus was on way to Ludhiana from Malerkotla when it collided with the tanker, which was coming from Nabha. An old woman passenger died on the spot while 20 others sustained injuries. Five passengers were stated to be serious.

After the accident, gas from the tanker started leaking, however it was soon brought under control.
