No intention to stop any scheme: Rangasamy
Puducherry,July 15(UNI) Chief Minister N Rangasamy today said his government had no intention to drop any scheme.
Speaking at a function to mark the birth anniversary of Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Congress Leader Kamaraj, being celebrated as the "Students Day" here, Mr Rangasamy said the administration was committed to continue with the Kamaraj Educational Assistance Scheme for the students to pursue higher education and there need not be any apprehension about stopping it.
Fund allocation for 2007-08 had already been made for all the departments and for 2008-09, funds would be made available.
Education Minister M O H F Shajahan and MLA Om Sakthi Sekhar were among those present.
