NC Core Group authorise Omar on supporting UPA

Srianagar Jul, 15 (UNI) The National Conference (NC) Core Group today authorised party president Omar Abdullah to take the final decision on supporting the UPA governments' confidence motion on July 22 in the Lok Sabha.

This decision was taken at a meeting of the core group held under party president here this afternoon.

The members of the Core Committee unanimously resolved to authorise the President of the NC Mr Abdullah to take a decision in this regard.

The spokesman of the party said Mr Abdullah, after due deliberations on the subject, would announce the party's decision in this regard in the next few days.

The Core Group members put forth their viewpoint to Mr Abdullah for his consideration.
