LIC ties-up with Suvidhaa for insurance premium collection
Mumbai, July 15 (UNI) India's premier Life Insurance Company. Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has tied up with Suvidhaa Infoserve, a multi service provider for insurance premium collection.
''We are delighted to tie-up with LIC. It will not only help enhance our customer servicing capabilities in this sector, but will also help the policy-holders to pay their insurance premium at all Suvidhaa Points -- S-Commerce kiosks,'' Suvidhaa Infoserve founder and managing director Paresh Rajde said in a release today.
The Suvidhaa kiosks are connected to LIC central server using state-of-the-art technology to update the collection on real time basis. The policy holders will be able to pay the premium cross India for the policies issued from any of the LIC Branch. In future LIC may also extend some more value added services to its domestic consumers through these outlets.
The Company, which provides day-to-day services related to travel, utilities, telecom, education, entertainment, financial Services and lifestyle, plans to have over 10,000 outlets by the end of 2009 and set up 1,00,000 outlets in the next three years, the release added.
