Indian, Nepali counterfeit currency seized, 4 held
Varanasi, July 15 (UNI) The city police today arrested four members of a gang, involved in making counterfeit currency of Nepal and India, and seized fake notes of Rs 1.75 lakh from them.
The syndicate came under the scanner after two people were caught with six Rs 100 denomination notes of the same serial number, polie said.
Later, as per information provided by them, police raided a house at Nayi Sarak and nailed their two aides.
Besides, the currency, equipments used in its making were also recovered from the spot.
