CPI workers protest against delay in distribution of pattas
Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, July 15 (UNI) CPI workers today laid seige to the Revenue Divisional Office (RDO) here, protesting against the enormous delay in distribution of pattas to the four acres of Government land at Kovvur village, near here.
The workers locked up the office when they did not find any officer to receive their representation. There was a wordy duel between CPI city unit Secretary T Madhu and the office staff for sometime.
The new RDO, Kishore Kumar, rushed to the office and assured the demonstrators of speedy action.
Satisfied with the assurance, the demonstrators called off their stir and unlocked the office.
