Bhopal, Jul 14 (UNI) BJP President Rajnath Singh today said the party would return the land taken back by the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board if it comes to power at the Centre.

''The party would continue its agitation over the issue,'' Mr Singh, while speaking as a chief guest at the valedictory of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha's 'Yuva Jodo Abhiyan', said.

Alleging that the Congress was hurting the sentiments of Hindus one after the other, he said the party had earlier raised the issue of 'Ram Setu' and questioned the existence of Lord Rama when its proposed demolition was opposed.

He asked the Congressmen to explain, ''if Lord Rama did not exist, then why did Mahatma Gandhi dreamt of bringing 'Ram Rajya' in the country''. Not only this, he used to pray singing 'Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram' and died taking the name of Lord Rama.

Mr Singh said the party would not allow 'Ram Setu' to be demolished.

Describing the 'Yuva Jodo Abhiyan' of the BJYM as ''successful'', he said he felt that Madhya Pradesh had become young after seeing number of youths here.

He alleged that the Congress was not in favour of the participation of young people into politics but no aspect of life remained untouched from politics. He exhorted youth not to rest until politics became a system to steer society in right direction.

State BJYM President Vishwas Sarang announced that a 'Yuva rally' would be organised in New Delhi on August 9. Senior party leader L K Advani, party president Rajnath Singh, former union minister Sushma Swaraj and former BJP President Venkaiah Naidu would address the programme.

Several young people from across the country are expected to take part in the programme.
