Ten public sector Cos registered in Kerala during Apr-Jun

Kochi, July 14 (UNI) As many as 10 public sector companies and 508 private companies with total authorised capital of Rs 660 lakh and Rs 6294.3 lakh respectively were registered in Kerala during April one to June 30, 2008, according to S M Ameerul Millath, Registrar of Companies, Ernakulam.

In a release here today, he said of this 39 were 'big size' companies with total authorised capital of Rs 50 lakh and above.

During the period, 212 cases were filed for violation of various provisions of the Companies Act 1956, and an amount of Rs 12,63,750 was imposed as fine by the court on the companies and its Directors, he added.
