Siemens bags Rs 2OO cr order in Sri Lanka
New Delhi, Jul 14 (UNI) Siemens Ltd today said its energy division has received an order worth Rs 200 crore from Sri Lanka's state-run power supply utility to upgrade the distribution network in Colombo.
The project is the company's largest order in Sri Lanka, it said in a statement.
The scope of work includes augmentation of a 33/11kV substation, supply, installation and commissioning of 390 air insulated Medium Voltage switchgear bays, 40 Compact substations, 50 Ring main units and 72 Low voltage distribution switchgears, apart from the supply and laying of over 200 kilometers of cables.
