Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.82 per USD, up 10 paise

Mumbai, July 14 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US Dollar at Rs 42.82 per unit, up ten paise against Friday's rate of 42.72 per USD.

The reference rate for Euro was quoted 69 paise higher at Rs 68.07 per unit against Friday's rate of Rs 67.38.

The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted at Rs 84.8928 (84.4275) per Pound and Rs 40.22 (39.83) per 100 units respectively, a Reserve Bank of India communique said.
