Pak denies ISI involvement in Kabul suicide attack
{image-suicide attack on Indian embassy in Kabul_14072008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Islamabad, Jul 14: Pakistan has reportedly rejected India's charge that the former was behind last week's suicide attack on Indian embassy in Kabul killing 41 persons, including four Indians.
Initial investigation into the suicide attack had hinted at the involvement of Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI in the attack. India's National Security Adviser M K Narayanan had also accused ISI for the attack. Reacting to the accusation, Pakistan Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar said that it was "unfair on the part of India" to blame Pakistan without any solid evidence. However, he added, such baseless allegations would not affect Pakistan-India relations.
Terming the Indian Embassy blast 'a bid to destabilise relations between the two countries", the defence minister termed said that it was not sagacious to level allegations without any proof, especially when efforts are being made to improve ties, reported the Dawn.
