NTRUHS calls online application for MBBS/BDS courses

Vijayawada, July 14 (UNI) The NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) today called online applications for issuing notification for admission to MBBS/BDS courses for acedemic year 2008-09 in colleges affiliated to NTRUHS.

Addressing a press conference here, University Vice-Chancellor U V Krishnan Raju said the candidates should have qualified in EAMCET-2008 and Intermediate and should secure not less than 50 per cent marks in EAMCET. In the case of BC/SC/ST, the marks should not be less than 40 per cent.

The first phase of counselling for admissions into the courses would be held from July 23 to 29. For special category seats, the couselling would be on July 30 and 31. Couselling for the remaining seats, to be filled up in the first phase, would be taken up in the last week of August or September first week this year as the entire process should be completed by September 30.

Mr Raju said online couselling would be held in Osmania University in Hyderabad, JNTU in Kukatpally, AU in Vishakhapatnam, SVU in Tirupati, NTRUHS in Vijayawada.
