MNS activists ransack Indira College office in Pune
Pune, Jul 14 (UNI) Continuing their tirade against 'outsiders', the activists of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) today ransacked the office of Indira College at Hinjwadi here.
The activists alleged that the college was giving preference to students from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
Hinjwadi Police said around 30 activists, allegedly owing allegiance to MNS, barged into the college campus. They smashed window panes, glass tables and furniture of the office.
Police have arrested six persons in this connection following a complaint by an employee of college.
In another incident, the MNS activists forcibly entered an office of Income Tax department and damaged the office furniture and broke window panes, police added.
