Assn calls off propose bus strike in Puducherry
Puducherry, July 14 (UNI) The proposed bus strike in Puducherry from midnight tonight has been called off.
The decision to call off the strike was taken following an assurance from Chief Minister N Rangasamy to fullfill the bus operators demands forthwith, Puducherry Private Bus Owners Association Bharathi Kannan, said in a statement today.
The association had sought an upward revision of the bus fares following hefty hike in diesel price.
