Three labourers injured in building collapse
Mumbai, Jul 13 (UNI) Three labourers were injured when a portion of an under-construction building collapsed at Andheri in north-west Mumbai today.
According to sources from the fire brigade, a structure of the one-storeyed building at the Shah Industrial Estate at Veera Desai Marg, collapsed at 1600 hrs, trapping three labourers.
The fire bridge personnel removed two of them from the debris.
The labourers were rushed to Cooper hospital, where their condition was said to be critical this evening.
Rescue operations were still on to extricate the third labourer, still trapped in the debris, sources said.
A case has registered at the Oshiwara police station against the contractor, who is at large.
