Student stabbed to death by co-student

Rajkot, July 13: A 19-year-old student of hotel management was allegedly stabbed to death by his co-student at a private management institute here.

According to police, Kuldip Mehta (19) was stabbed by co-student Nikit Jayeshbhai Thakar last night. Preliminary investigations revealed that Kuldip and Nikit were not on good terms over some work distribution of a college function. Last night again they had a tiff over watching film in the Institute, which ended in Nikit inflicting knife on Kuldip, police said.

Severely injured Kuldip was admitted to Wockhardt Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries today.

Police have arrested Nikit in this connection and further investigations are on.
