Sirsa varsity to run BAMC, PGDMC courses

Chandigarh, Jul 12 (UNI) The Department of Mass Communication of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa would start BA in Mass Communication (BAMC) and Post-graduate Diploma in Mass Communication (PGDMC) from the academic session 2008-09.

Stating this here today, a University spokesman said these two job oriented courses would be offered under Self Financing Scheme (SFS).

While BAMC classes would be conducted during morning session, the classes of PGDMC would be in evening session. Both these courses would have semester system, he added.

He said emphasis would be laid on training the students practical aspects of mass media so that they become successful media professionals.
