LJP lambasts Nitish Kumar govt on law and order situation
Patna, Jul 12 (UNI) The LJP today alleged that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was misleading the people by making tall claims of establishing rule of law in the state.
In a release, president of Parliamentary Board of the party Satish Kumar said it was ironical to note that on the one hand crime graph was rapidily increasing in Bihar, while on the other hand the Chief Minister was making tall claims to have established the rule of law in Bihar.
''The recent gruesome killings of five poor people and a senior officer of the state government in Phulwarisharif on the outskirts of the state capital is enough indication of the law and order situation in Bihar, '' Mr Kumar said and added the Chief Minister should focus on taking steps for safety and security of the people, instead of making hollow claims.
The disruptive activities of the Naxalites had witnessed an upward trend in the state during the Nitish Kumar regime, he said, adding, the state government had miserably failed in taking steps to combat the Naxal activities.
If the state government failed to take appropriate measures in time, the situation would further deteriorate and it could pose threats to law and order and internal security of the nation, he added.
