Five-member gang loots Rs 15 lakh cash and jewellery in Hubli
Hubli, Jul 12(UNI) A Five-member dacoit gang has struck a house of a trader in the city and decamped with a haul of Rs 15 lakh in cash and huge quantity of gold and silver ornaments.
Police said the dacoits gained entry into the house by force last night and threatened the family members with lethal weapons. After locking them in a room they searched the house and decamped with all the valuables.
A special police team had been formed to nab the culprits. Dog squads and finger print experts had visited the spot of the crime, police said.
The dacoits were speaking in Kannada and the crime was seemed to be a pre-planned.
