Dungeon mum questioned for the first time about her ordeal
London, July 12 : Elisabeth Fritzl, the Austrian woman who was held as a captive in a cellar for 24 years by her father, has been questioned for the first time about her ordeal, it has emerged.
Judge Andrea Hummer interviewed Elisabeth, 42, in the presence of her lawyer after doctors said she was well enough to be questioned, reports the Mirror.
The lawyer of 73-year-old Josef Fritzl, who is expected to go on trial before the end of the year, was allowed to ask questions via video-link at the hearing at a secret location.
Prosecutors allege he held his daughter in a windowless underground cell beneath his home.
The evil dad has also been accused of fathering seven children with her.
The shocking incest case in Amstetten, some 60 miles west of Vienna, came to light in after Elisabeth's 19-year-old daughter was admitted to hospital in an unconscious state.
