Divya Khosla Kumar to launch road safety jingle

Mumbai, Jul 12 (UNI) Bollywood director Divya Khosla Kumar is all set to create awareness among millions of vehicle owners in the Metropolis, with her new jingle on road safety.

The director, wife of music baron Bhushan Kumar, is currently working to create a public awareness jingle on road safety, a release said today.

''I was merely surfing the net to check out the kind of bikes youngsters today fancy so that we could create a similar feel and I was shocked to read a BBC report, which stated that India leads in road accident deaths,'' Divya said.

She said according to a report, reckless driving caused road accidents that claimed over one lakh Indians, with the country losing three per cent of its GDP due to road accidents.

''I would like to, as a citizen, share my findings with Mumbaiites, so that we become more aware and do our bit as individuals,'' she added.
