CII organises leadership programme

Puducherry, Jul 11: The Confederation of Indian Industry(CII) Puducherry-unit had organised an empowered leadership programme yesterday.

According to a CII release here today, CII Puducherry Chairman Sriram Subramanya, who inaugurated the programme targetted the executives, shop floor supervisors, middle and junior level managers, among others and said the objective of the programme was to understand the psychology of peak performance in order to maximise the human potential.

Stressing the need for good leadership, Mr Subramaniya said through this programme one can learn leadership principles and sucess strategies. Good leadership must possess qualities of visionary, inspirational, influential, trustworthy and above all be aware and understand the abilities of individuals, limitations, motivations and drives.

As many as 50 people from various Industries in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu participated in the programme, which had sessions on leadership attitude, behaviour, psychology of peak performance, mechanics of motivation, among others.
