2 drowned in Kashmir valley

Srinagar, Jul 12: Two people, including a girl, were drowned in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.

They said Rukhsana Akhter was drowned in the river Jehlum at Paidalpora Sonawar. Her body was later recovered at a distance.

One Sajjad Ali Mir was drowned in a 'nullah' when he was taking bath at Magam in the central Kashmir district of Badgam.

His body was fished out and handed over to his relatives, they said.
