Vohra takes exception to public inconvenience
Srinagar, Jul 11 (UNI) Taking exception to the inconvenience caused to people following the stoppage of traffic here this morning during his movement from Raj Bhavan to the Civil Secretariat, Jammu and Kashmir Governor, N N Vohra called for minimising traffic restrictions to bare minimum during movements of various signatories.
Addressing officers in Civil Secretariat, Mr Vohra said while security concerns would warrant due caution, the traffic restrictions being imposed on key crossings should be for the minimum possible time.
''The system will have to be streamlined as people at large cannot be put to inconvenience,'' he said, adding that this will be discussed with Director General of Police Kuldip Khdda.
