Panchayat member dies in road accident
Ara, Jul 11 (UNI) A Panchayat official of Simariya was killed while another of Bahoranpur Panchayat was injured in an accident on National Highway 84 under Shahpur Block I in Bhojpur district today.
District Magistrate Shafina A N said here a speeding truck knocked down their motorcycle when the duo was returning from Chamarpur village after distributing relief to the victims of yesterdays boat accident.
Mr Kameshwar Mishra died on the spot while Choteshwar Ojha, also the Block Education Officer, sustained serious injuries. He was rushed to the local Sadar Hospital.
