Orbit Corp April-June net at Rs 18.22 cr

New Delhi, Jul 11 (UNI) Real estate developer Orbit Corporation Ltd today said its consolidated net profit stood at Rs 18.22 crore for the quarter to June 2008.

Total revenues were up 27.5 per cent to Rs 82.1 crore in the quarter, a company statement said.

The company had a cash balance of Rs 120 crore, it added.

During the quarter, it picked up 85 per cent stake in Ahinsa Buildtech Pvt Ltd, through which it has acuired Orkay Mills in a Mumbai suburb, which will give it about 2,75,000 square feet of saleable area.
