NSN signs 550 mln euro contract with China Mobile

New Delhi, Jul 11 (UNI) Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) today said it has entered into a frame agreement with China Mobile Communications Corporation (CMCC) for its network expansion project, valued at 550 million euros.

Under the contract, NSN will design, build, maintain and optimise the radio and core network for China Mobile, which will include the market-leading energy efficient Flexi base station, mobile soft switching and Operating Support System solutions in key provinces and cities across China, a company statement said.

The solution supplied by NSN will help CMCC increase its network capacity and improve customer experience, while controlling capital and operating expenditure.
