UP: Life for 4 murder accused in 19-year-old case

Jaunpur, Jul 11: A local court sentenced to life four peoples for killing of a man here 19 years ago.

According to the prosecution, on October 9, 1989, Mane Bahadur Yadav was hacked to death by four in Baksa area of the district.

Hearing the case yesterday, Additional District and Sessions Judge (III) R Chandra pronounced life terms for the guilty quartet -- Jharig, Bhaiya Lal, Heera Lal and Babu Ram.

The court also imposed a penalty of Rs 10,000 on each accused.
