ICSI to launch career awareness week from July 14
New Delhi, July 11 (UNI) The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will launch a career awareness week from July 14 in 200 cities across the country to highlight the career prospects of a company secretary.
To attract the best talent to the profession, ICSI is placing emphasis on the rural/interior areas. Nearly 3,000 career awareness sessions will be organised in schools and colleges spread over 200 cities across India during the week.
In order to motivate more students to join the CS course that transforms students into modern corporate professionals, specially designed informative brochures and posters will be disseminated among the students, parents, counselors, heads of Commerce Departments and school and college principals.
A 15-minute film on "Career as a Company Secretary", produced by the Institute, will be screened for the benefit of the student community. The film has also been planned for telecast on Doordarshan News during week.
