DQE to launch new school of animations, special effects
Mumbai, July 11 (UNI) DQ Entertainment (DQE), a leading producer and distributor of animation, VFX and game art, will launch a new school of visual arts and animation production facilities that will conduct courses in visual effects and animation.
The DQ School of Visual Arts will offer curriculum-based one-year courses in 2D animation and 3D animation using animation, flash, compositing, modeling, rigging, textures and surfaces, lighting, visual effects and camera, a release said today.
DQ Entertainment Group Chairman and CEO Tapaas Chakravarti said, ''The animation industry is experiencing a major boom in India. It is the right time to create and nurture the talents and increase awareness among students about career option in the industry.'' The eligibility to join the course will be minimum 12th pass or a graduation in any stream. Similar institutes will also be opened in Chennai and Kolkata, the release added.
