2500 new ST buses for for luxury travel: Deshmukh
Mumbai, Jul 11 (UNI) Chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today said Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) would get 200 new luxury buses.
Speaking at a meeting here, he said the MSRTC has recorded a profit of Rs 23 crore in last two years, and the government would do everything within its means to increase it.
At present, MSRTC runs 15,593 buses and per day 65 lakh people travel in them.
