SR cancels more trains due to heavy rain

Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 10 (UNI) The Shalimar Express, leaving here on July 12, 17 and 19, have been cancelled due to heavy rain and water logging in Kharagpur division of the south-eastern railway.

According to a Southern Railway (SR) release here today, the Ernakulam-Patna (bi-weekly) Express, train ''6309,'' leaving Ernakulam on July 14 and 20, Alleppey-Dhanbad Express, train ''3352,'' leaving Alleppey on July 11 and Nagercoil-Shalimar (weekly) Gurudev Express, train ''2659,'' on July 13 and 20 were also cancelled.
