Sintex Industries Q1 net up 43.03% at Rs 43.71 cr
New Delhi, Jul 10 (UNI) Sintex Industries Ltd today announced its net profit for the first quarter ended June 2008 increased 43.03 per cent to Rs 43.71 crore as compared to Rs 30.56 crore for the corresponding period last year.
The company said in a statement that its total income for Q1FY09 grew 39.87 per cent to Rs 436.54 crore from Rs 312.10 crore during Q1FY08.
The Group's net profit for the quarter ended June 2008 stood at Rs 56.47 crore whereas it was Rs 32.95 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007, recording a growth of 71.38 per cent.
Its total income for the said period witnesssed an increase of 111.59 per cent to Rs 752.85 crore as against Rs 355.79 crore in the same period a year ago.
