SI caught red-handed while accepting bribe

Patna, Jul 10 (UNI) A Sub Inspector of Parsa Begha police station was arrested while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 2500 in Jehanabad district today.

Additional Director General(ADG) of state vigilance bureau Neelmani said here that SI Hitlal Das was caught red-handed while he was accepting Rs 2500 as bribe from a resident of Rasidpur village.

''On a complaint from the victim, a trap was laid to nab Mr Das,'' Mr Neelmani said, adding the Sub Inspector was arrested while accepting the bribe.

Mr Das would be produced before the special vigilance court in Patna tomorrow.
