People warned against floods in Krishna river

Gulbarga, Jul 10 (UNI) The Krishna Bhagya Jal Nigam Limited (KBJNL) officials have issued warning to the people living below the Narayanapur Reservoir in the district against flood in Krishna river following heavy inflow into the dam due to rains in the upstream.

In company's press release the KBJNL Chief Executive Engineer has said that due to heavy inflow into Narayanapur Reservoir, across Krishna river, additional water will be released into down stream any time.

The release of water is likely cause flood along side of the Krishna river and people were warned to move to safer places as a precaution the release added.
