OSIM India chalksout Rs 50 cr expansion plan in AP

Hyderabad, Jul 10 (UNI) OSIM India, leading supplier and dealer of lifestyle and healthcare products, will infuse Rs 50 crore over the next three years to expand its operations and open more new showrooms in the country.

Addressing a press conference at its showroom in City Center Mall here today, Managing Director Shaily Grover said the company presently has 22 outlets in India and planning to add 28 more in the next three years. This would continue till 100 outlets were opened by the year 2012.

On its expansion plans in Andhra Pradesh, he said the company currently has one showroom in Hyderabad and plans were afoot to expand to other potential centres like Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada.

''With so many big corporate companies, MNCs, IT and ITeS companies in the city, the market offers a great potential for the products, he added.

On the occasion, Mr Grover launched 'OSIM uPilot,' a designer massage chair, that claims to give full curative effects of a therapeutic massage and is priced at Rs 3,69,000. ''We propose to sell 250 such chairs in addition to other range of chairs. Our total chairs target is 1000,'' he added.

The other product which was launched today was OSIM uSqueez, a foot massager. Its features, include multi-angle squeeze and wrap around squeeze for personalised calves-ankles-feet massage and is priced at Rs 23,000.
