Nine IEDs, 7 grenades recovered in Jammu

Jammu, Jul 10 (UNI) Nine Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and seven grenades were recovered from a militant hideout in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, official spokesman said today.

In a joint operation conducted by the troops of 61 Rashtriya Rifles (JAT) and 48 Rashtriya Rifles (GARHWAL RIFLES), was recovered a cache at Kotranka in the bordering area of Reasi and Rajouri district yesterday, Defence spokesman Lt Col S D Goswami said.

The cache comprised nine IEDs and seven grenades, he added.
