Middle class, media should participate in political reforms

Mumbai, Jul 10 (UNI) Lok Satta Movement national coordinator Jayaprakash Narayan today said considering that present-day politics is based on ''nepotism'', it is essential that middle class, media and intellectuals must participate and reinforce new political reforms.

Speaking at an interactive session organised by the Indian Merchants' Chamber (IMC) here, he stressed the need for participation of these sections in political reforms.

Mr Narayan said this would help the economic growth.

The participation of these sections will bring a new dimension in the political arena, he added.
