Left parties to launch awarness drive on nuke deal in Punjab
Moga, July 10 (UNI) The Punjab units of the CPI and CPM have decided to launch a special awareness drive to mobilise the people against the Indo-American nuclear deal and also about the economic policies of the UPA government that had failed to check inflation.
This moblisation campaign would be launched jointly by the two Left parties from Hussainiwala and Jallianwala Bagh simultaneously on July 14, state CPI secretary Bhupinder Sambhar announced at a media conference here today.
The joint CPI and CPM 'jathas' after cris-crossing through Punjab would reach Chandigarh on July 17 where a state level rally will be held.
