Governor reviews security situation

Srinagar, Jul 10 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today reviewed the security situation in the state, an official spokesman said this evening.

He said Mr Vohra was given a detailed briefing on the prevailing situation in the state at a high level meeting held at Raj Bhavan.

Mr Vohra reviewed the overall security scenario obtaining in Jammu and Kashmir and expressed satisfaction over the fast improving law and order situation.

Among others, Chief Secretary, S S Kapur, and Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda, attended the meeting.

The Governor was also briefed about important matters, which affect peace and normalcy in the state. It was indicated that the Governor will be taking such Security Review Meetings on a regular basis.
