Bruni is desperate for Sarkozy's baby

London, July 10 : Carla Bruni-Sarkozy would like nothing more than to start a family with new hubby, French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

The French First Lady opened up about her wish in an interview with VSD magazine.

However Carla, who has a son from a previous relationship, admits that getting pregnant may not be so easy, reports The Telegraph.

"Will it happen? It is very difficult for me to say. However, it is more difficult when you are 40 than when you are 25," she told the mag.

She also admitted that she would 'understand' if the French public don't take to her new album because of her marriage to Mr Sarkozy.

"If people don't listen because I married the president of the Republic, I understand. If they do listen because I married the president of the Republic, I will be delighted," she said.

Mrs Bruni-Sarkozy also revealed that the lyrics were penned "a little bit before, a little bit during and a little bit after" her swift romance with Sarkozy.
