BJP holds demonstration against hospital machinery purchase

Nashik, July 10 (UNI) BJP activists today held a demonstration to protest against the alleged fraud in purchase of machinery for the Super Speciality Hospital here.

The activist demanded an inquiry into the alleged fraud in purchase of machinery at the recently inaugurated Hospital.

BJP city unit president Vijay Sane alleged that a fraud of crores of rupees had been done in the purchase of the machinery equipments for the Hospital. The agitators also entered the Deputy health directors office and ransacked the furniture.

The issue came to light when it was found that an ETO Sterilizer machine in the Hospital was made in India rather US. The provider company had sold it to the government under the pretext that it was US made, using the brand name of a US company.
