4 commit suicide by jumping before train

Bhatinda, Jul 10 (UNI) Four persons, including a woman and two minor children, allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a goods train near Katarsingh Wala village in the district in the wee hours today, police said.

The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Veerpal Kaur, and her 12-year-old son Laddi and 5-year-old daughter Soni. The fourth victim was identified as Jagroop Singh (35) a resident of Tapali village near Rampura Phul. The police also found few celphos tablets from the site.

The police has registered a case and begun investigation. The police are also trying to verify the relationship between Jagroop Singh and Veerpal Kaur.
