Rupee inches up at 43.16/17 per USD

Mumbai, Jul 9: Rupee inched up at 43.16/17 per US Dollar, gained ten paise form its previous close of 43.26/27 per Dollar as global crude oil prices softened and stock market pared gains in the opening trade today.

The Indian unit strengthened against greenback after oil prices fell sharply, easing concerns about inflation and global credit crisis worsening further, dealers said.
