Portuguese foreign minister, delegation visit monuments

Panaji, July 9 (UNI) Portugal foreign Affairs Minister Luis Amado today visited the world heritage monuments at Old Goa, the seat of erstwhile Portuguese regime.

Accompanied by a 16-member business delegation that is on a two-day exploratory visit to the state, Mr Amado visited the historic and highly aesthetic Basilica of Bom Jesus besides St Cathedral Church, Archaeological Museum, Institute of Mater Dei Santa Monica and Christian Art Gallery.

Later, the dignitaries visited Portuguese Consulate, language centre and Fundacao Orient, before winding up their stay.
