IUML nominee in UPA Govt should have resigned
Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 9 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan today said it was improper on the part of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) nominee to continue in the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre after his party expressed unhappiness over the Indo-American nuclear deal.
Talking to newspersons here, the Chief Minister said the general impression among the public was that leaders in the IUML listen to the views of their top leaders.
Mr Achuthanandan dismissed the argument by the Congress that the Left decision to withdraw support to the UPA Government would enable BJP to comeback at the centre.
