Gonda zeroed-in for backward area fund in UP
Gonda, Jul 9 (UNI) Gonda district has now been identified for the grant of Backward Area Fund in Uttar Pradesh.
Thirty-four districts have been chosen for development under a scheme in the state till now, official sources stated today.
The government had also given a green signal to worth Rs 19 crore schemes for development in the identified areas.
As per the the scheme, resource centres would be established at the development block head quarters and the identified Gram Panchayats would have Panchayat Bhawans and Anganbadi Kendras.
Besides, infrastructure would be the major part in the development process.
